JAMMU, Dec. 18 -- The High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh has officially notified its Winter Vacation schedule for the year 2026, as per an order issued by the Registrar General.
According to the notification, the High Court will observe Winter Vacation from January 1 to January 24, 2026 (both days inclusive). The period from January 1 to January 10, 2026 has been declared as a No Work Period for the High Court.
The order further states that, in terms of Rule 12 of the Jammu and Kashmir High Court Rules, 1999, the Hon'ble Chief Justice has nominated Vacation Judges to hear urgent matters during the vacation period.
