Srinagar, July 4 -- Amid serious allegations of illegal money transfer worth millions against a corporator of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC), infighting has started in Bharatiya Janta Party in support of such a candidate for being the new Mayor of the SMC.
Sources said BJP office has received allegations against the SMC corporator who is expecting support of the national party in getting him elected as Mayor of SMC.
Sources said the party has received allegations that the said corporator has purchased property in the United Arab Emirates through a hawala operator who is presently under detention in connection with a case being investigated by the National Investigation Agency.
