CHANDIGARH, Dec. 30 -- Haryana has firmly established itself as a national frontrunner in the implementation of India's new criminal laws, recording sharp gains in conviction rates, forensic compliance and investigation timelines, while simultaneously unveiling an ambitious reform roadmap encompassing mobile forensic units, major investments in DNA and cyber forensics, large-scale police recruitment and expanded prison infrastructure, said Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department, Dr. Sumita Misra.
