UDHAMPUR, May 2 -- Police team from Police Station Udhampur led by its SHO while performing routine vehicle/Patrolling duty apprehended one suspicious person, who on spoting police team, he tried to hide himself from police team which created suspicion.
Upon conducting a thorough frisking, the police team recovered 6.95 grams of heroin (chitta) like Contraband substance from the possession of the above apprehended person namely Amir Khan @Midu S/O Mir Qasim R/O Sallian Talab, Udhampur.
On this, a case vide FIR No. 153/2025 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act stands registered in P/S Udhampur and further investigation was set into probe.
