Thannamandi, March 2 -- The Department of Urdu in collaboration with Cultural Committee of Government Degree College (GDC) Thannamandi organized a literary event, Mehfil-e-Afsana, celebrating the art of story writing. The event featured renowned guest speakers and showcased thought-provoking Afsanas, highlighting the richness of Urdu literature.
The distinguished guest speakers included Iqbal Nazish, who delivered a presidential address on the occasion and also presented his Pahadi Afsana "Kali Padi" that reflected a sorrowful saga of a lost culture and traditional values, and the afsana was read with heightened imagination.
