Thannamandi, March 11 -- The Women Development Cell (WDC) in collaboration with National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Government Degree College (GDC) Thannamandi concluded the week long celebrations of International Women's Day as part of Viksit Bharat@2047 Abhiyan here today.
To mark the Day a series of awareness programmes including symposium and extension lecture on the topic "Role of Women in Constitution Making", Special counseling session on health and hygiene, poster making competition and felicitation of young women achievers organized under the guidance of Principal of College, Prof. (Dr.) Farooq Ahmed. Prof. Fatima Parveen, Convener WDC and Prof. Supriya Gupta, NSS PO, co-ordinated the programmes.
