RS PURA, Feb. 14 -- The Government Degree College R.S. Pura successfully hosted the Campus Bird Count 2026 on 14 February 2026 as part of the globally recognized Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC). The initiative aimed at documenting and celebrating avian biodiversity and encouraged students, faculty members, and nature enthusiasts to actively participate in birdwatching and data collection, thereby contributing to global ornithological research.
The event was organized by the Department of Environmental Sciences in collaboration with the College Eco-Club.
