JAMMU, Feb. 21 -- To mark the Silver Jubilee celebration of International Mother Language Day, Government Degree College Marh organized a one day Dogri Cultural Programme.
Padam Shri Prof. Dr. Lalit Magotra was the chief guest. The programme started with the lighting of the lamp and SarastwatiVandana.
Principal of the college Prof (Dr) Rakesh Kumar Koul stressed on encouraging research on vernacular languages in educational systems particularly, in the regions with diverse linguistic backgrounds like Jammu and Kashmir.
