JAMMU, March 11 -- Department of Sociology and Economic in Collaboration with Women Empowerment Committee of Gdc Mahanpur organised symposium on "Gender Equality " on 11/3/25.In connection with Celebration of International Women's Day across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir w.e.f 08 to 12th March, 2025. It was organized by Dr. Sapna Devi (Convener, Women Empowerment Committee ), Prof. Namita Department of sociology, in collaboration with Bably Department of Economic under the guidance of Dr. Sangeeta Sudan, Principal of the College.The main motive of the activity was to raise awareness about Gender equality .
