Jammu, Sept. 8 -- Government Degree College, Kakryal, Katra, in collaboration with NSS unit, N-Cord, IQAC, Red Ribbon Club organised a seminar on the theme "Teachers as Nation Builders: A Tribute to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan". The event was conducted to pay homage to Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, former President of India, eminent philosopher, and great teacher, whose birthday is celebrated as Teacher's Day across the nation.
The seminar was conducted under the able guidance of the Principal of the college, who emphasized on the significance of Teacher's Day and encouraged the students to participate in the event.
