Hiranagar, Nov. 4 -- An industrial visit was organized by Govt. GLDM Degree College, Hiranagar, for the students of Department of Environmental Sciences and Department of Chemistry.
The students of semester 5th visited Universal Plastic Industries, a recycling Unit, situated in Industrial Area, Kathua.
The students very keenly observed various processes involved in the recycling of plastic.
The officials from the industrial unit guided students about working and functionality of the industry. They showed various processes involved in recycling like sorting plastic waste by type, shredding it into smaller pieces, and then washing and cleaning it to remove contaminants.
