Rajouri, Jan. 21 -- The NSS Unit of S. G. Government Degree College Doongi, under the able chairmanship of Principal Dr. Chanchal Angral, organised an awareness lecture on "National Consciousness" with special emphasis on road safety and civic discipline, carrying the patriotic message of "Vande Mataram" to commemorate the 150th year of national pride "Vande Mataram".
The programme featured Dr. Mohammed Fareed, Department of Education, as the resource person. In his address, he explained the legal framework of road safety provisions and critically highlighted the gaps and loopholes in the implementation of various laws at the grassroots level.
