Jammu, Jan. 14 -- The 8 J&K Girls Battalion NCC and the Department of Punjabi, in collaboration with the Cultural Committee of Government Degree College (GDC) Bishnah, Jammu, organised a vibrant celebration of the traditional festivals of Lohri and Makar Sankranti at the college campus on 14.01.2026. Makar Sankranti, which marks the New Year as per the Hindu calendar, was celebrated in its true spirit.
