UDHAMPUR, Sept. 25 -- The Department of Sociology, Government College for Women(GCW), Udhampur, organized a symposium and poster-making competition today, to raise awareness about the serious issue of drug abuse. The event, held under the theme "Breaking the Chain: Say No To Drugs," was part of the college's ongoing academic activities.
The program was guided by the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Nalini Pathania, who emphasized the importance of educating the public, especially young people, about the devastating consequences of drug abuse. "The purpose of this event is to raise awareness among the general masses, particularly youngsters and teenagers, about the serious issues caused by drug abuse," she stated.
