JAMMU, Nov. 26 -- Department of Political Science and NSS Unit of GCW Bhagwati Nagar Jammu commemorated Constitution Day (Samvidhan Divas) with great pride and vibrant participation, honouring the adoption of the Indian Constitution on 26 November 1949. The event aimed to deepen awareness about the values, duties, and rights enshrined in the Constitution.
The celebration began with the reading of the Preamble, followed by a brief address by Prof. Nusrat Koser, Head of Department of Political Science. In her address, she highlighted the vision of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and the significance of constitutional values in modern India.
