Jammu, Sept. 8 -- Government College of Education (GCOE) Jammu celebrated International Literacy Day with great enthusiasm, highlighting the importance of Education and Literacy in today's society.
The event was graced by Prof. Dr. Jyoti Parihar, Principal GCOE Jammu and Professor Dr. Renu Nanda, Current State Commissioner, Rangers- Bhartiya Scouts and Guides Jammu and Kashmir Unit as the Chief Guest.
The celebration featured series of activities i.e. Essay Writing Competition, Storytelling Competition, Creating Wall of Fame, Creating Book Bank and enrolling volunteers for Rover Ranger Unit in College. Students showcased their literary skills and creativity and participated with great zeal.
