Jammu, March 21 -- Meting out injustice to the hundreds of teachers working under Sarv Siksha Abhiyan (SSA) of District Kathua, a former Chief Education Officer had allegedly diverted three month salary of these teachers to clear other liabilities nearly one year ago which has not been paid to them till date.
Sources told Early Times that around 227 head teachers of district Kathua have not been paid their three month salary for the months of December 2017, January and February 2108 by the department as the salary which is approximately of Rs 3 crore was diverted by the then Chief Education Officer Kathua to clear arrears of RET teachers.
