SRINAGAR, Jan. 5 -- The COVID-19 recovery rate in Jammu & Kashmir reached 96.31 percent after 215 more virus affected patients were discharged from different hospitals today. The positive cases of the virus reached 1, 21,923 as 137 new cases of virus were reported today; the death toll reached 1897 following six fresh deaths. Jammu district reported 49 new cases of Corona Virus followed by Srinagar district 22 cases, Pulwama district 18 cases, Ganderbal district 11 cases, Udhampur district seven cases, Baramulla, Anantnag and Kathua districts five cases each, Doda district four cases, Kupwara, Bandipora, Kishtwar, Samba and Poonch districts two cases each and Budgam district one case.
