JAMMU, Dec. 2 -- In order to strengthen local security and enforce the District Magistrate's directions, Jammu Police, South Zone has booked a house owner for failing to conduct mandatory tenant verification. An information was received at Police Station Bahu Fort that a house owner had accommodated tenants in their premises(Paying Guest)without conducting their mandatory police verification. This act is in clear violation of the directions issued by the District Magistrate Jammu which mandate all landlords to verify their tenants at the concerned police station before allowing them to stay.
