JAMMU, Feb. 19 -- FICCI FLO Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh has successfully created sustainable employment opportunities for over 100 women through skilling-to-employment initiative in collaboration with Nidra.
Under this impactful program, FICCI FLO JKL adopted a "Train the Trainer" model under Skill to Scale vertical headed by Deepti Gandotra and Iruvanthika Chowdhary, by training trainers from 20 Self Help Groups (SHGs) in stitching. Each of these Trained leaders further trained five to six women within their respective SHGs, thereby expanding the initiative's reach to over 100 women at the grassroots level.
