UDHAMPUR, Jan. 16 -- FICCI FLO Jammu, Kashmir & Ladakh (JKL) successfully conducted a large-scale menstrual hygiene awareness programme today at Army Public School, Udhampur, marked by the handover of 10,500 sanitary napkins to the Army Woman's Welfare Association (AWWA), Northern Command. The initiative underscores FLO JKL's continued commitment towards adolescent health, dignity, and awareness.
This programme is part of a national initiative undertaken jointly by FICCI FLO and NIINE, aimed at distributing 2,50,000 sanitary napkins across 21 FLO chapters in various cities across India. The initiative seeks to address menstrual hygiene as a critical aspect of health education, particularly among young adolescent girls.
