Financial Commissioner, Finance, Dr. Arun Kumar Mehta, today convened a meeting to discuss proposal of School Education department seeking engagement of Quality Council of India (QCI) for further improving the education quality in government schools.
The meeting was attended by Commissioner Secretary School Education, Sarita Chauhan; CEO, QCI and senior Advisor of the assessment agency besides other senior officers of the department.
Financial Commissioner discussed with the QCI members about the parameters on which the Council assesses the schools. He suggested the QCI visiting team to take into consideration the diversity of geography and academic calendar of J&K while doing assessment.
