JAMMU, Feb. 9 -- Er. Nazir Yatoo has urged the government to take immediate action over the alarming lack of Wildlife Department infrastructure in District Budgam. He raised the issue with the Hon'ble Minister for Forest, Ecology & Environment, Mr. Javed Ahmed Rana, pointing out that there is no Wildlife Office in either Chadoora or Budgam, despite the district comprising around 530 villages. Er. Yatoo highlighted that the entire district is currently being managed by only three permanent wildlife officials with just one vehicle, terming the situation grossly inadequate and risky.
