JAMMU, July 22 -- Traffic Police City Jammu has issued a Public Notice requiring the Owners/Operators of E-Rickshaws, E-Autos and E-Carts in District Jammu to ply their Vehicles only on the notified routes and stay short of National/State Highways. An order in this regard had already been issued by DC Jammu/Chairman RTA in September-2022 which forms the basis of this Public Notice.
Briefly stated, there are 85 routes earmarked for E-Rickshaws, E-Autos and E-Carts in District Jammu ranging from 2.5 Kms to 5 Kms which have been worked out to provide last mile connectivity to the people.
