UDHAMPUR, Sept. 14 -- A police team from Police Station Rehambal, led by its SHO during patrolling duty apprehended one person who was roaming suspiciously.
Upon search, a transparent polypouch containing 4.3 grams (including polypouch) of heroin-like narcotic substance was recovered from his possession. The accused was arrested on the spot.
The arrested person has been identified as Janam Bhagat @ Janni S/O Mohan Lal R/O Kambal Danga, Tehsil & District Udhampur.
In this connection, a case FIR No. 139/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rehambal, and further investigation is underway.
