UDHAMPUR, Dec. 10 -- Continuing its drive against drug trafficking, a police party of PP Tikri, while performing traffic checking duty at Tikri naka point NHW, intercepted a pedestrian coming from Manthal side towards Tikri.
During questioning and frisking, the individual was identified as Rashid Latief S/O Abdul Latief R/O Gandoh, Doda. On his checking, 8.51 grams of heroin was found from his possession.
In this regard, FIR No. 208/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Rehambal and further investigation is underway.
