JAMMU, Feb. 2 -- Continuing its efforts to curb drug menace in the district, Rajouri Police has apprehended a drug peddler and recovered narcotic substances from his possession. During a naka checking at Mohra near Takya, a police party from Police Station Kandi intercepted a person moving in a suspicious manner. The individual has been identified as Kabir Ahmed S/O Ghulam Mohd, resident of Rather Mandi Draj, Kotranka, Rajouri.
During his personal search, 14 grams of a Heroine like Narcotic substance recovered from his possession. In this regard a case FIR No.13/2025 under Sections 8/21/22 of the NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Kandi, and further investigation is underway.
