Jammu, July 28 -- The Jammu and Kashmir Government has relieved Dr. Sunil Gupta, IPS (2005), from the post of IGP Crime J&K to enable him to take up a new assignment outside the Union Territory, with effect from July 28.
Consequently, Sujit Kumar, IPS (2007), currently serving as IGP Security J&K, has been given the additional charge of IGP Crime J&K until further orders.
