JAMMU, Jan. 21 -- As part of the ongoing Swachh Republic Day campaign, Dr. Devansh Yadav, Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), today carried out a detailed inspection of sanitation and encroachment issues in wards No. 30, 31, 32, and 40, covering Talab Tillo, Gol Gujral, Punch House, and surrounding localities.
During the visit, the Commissioner reviewed the overall cleanliness scenario, including door-to-door garbage collection, lifting of legacy waste, cleanliness of streets and lanes, and desilting of drains. He inspected major roads, inner lanes, and public spaces to assess the ground-level implementation of sanitation measures being undertaken by the Corporation as part of the Swachh Republic Day initiative.
