Jammu, March 1 -- Ahead of the upcoming budget session of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly, Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leader and former minister Ghulam Ahmed Mir issued a veiled warning to the Omar Abdullah-led government for failing to fulfill promises made to the people during the recent elections.

Mir, who represents Dooru constituency in south Kashmir, refrained from directly naming the National Conference government but asserted that the Congress will strongly press for the fulfillment of electoral guarantees related to socio-economic development, unemployment, and other public issues during the forthcoming session.
