DODA, Jan. 24 -- District Doda delivered an outstanding performance at the 28th J&K UT Taekwondo Championships 2025-26, held from 19th to 22nd January 2026 at Indoor Hall, Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, by securing a total of 27 medals and winning the prestigious Best Sportsman Sprint Award, presented by the Secretary, J&K Sports Council, Mrs. Nuzhat Gul.
The taekwondo athletes representing District Doda clinched 26 medals, including 11 Gold, 8 Silver and 7 Bronze, showcasing exceptional skill, discipline, and dedication. The team's success was achieved under the guidance and support of Burhan Ud Din Khan (Taekwondo Coach/Referee), along with team coaches Nadeem Zargar and Babar Mujahid.
