Doda, Feb. 12 -- The Taekwondo athletes of District Doda made a remarkable mark at the 27th J&K UT Taekwondo Championships 2024-25, securing a total of 25 medals (14 Gold, 4 Silver, and 7 Bronze) and achieving overall 3rd place in the championship. The prestigious event was held from 9th to 11th February 2025 at Indoor Hall Bhagwati Nagar, Jammu, organized by the J&K Taekwondo Association (Regd.) under the aegis of the Taekwondo Federation of India (TFI) and J&K Sports Council (JKSC). In recognition of their stellar performance, the District Doda team was felicitated by the Hon'ble Minister of Youth Services and Sports, J&K, Shri Satish Sharma.
