SRINAGAR, Dec. 5 -- District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Srinagar today organized a comprehensive Legal Awareness Programme on the POSH Act, Dowry and Maintenance Laws, and Solid Waste Management at the Legal Literacy Club of Government Model Higher Secondary School, Mujgund.
The programme was conducted under the aegis of the J&K Legal Services Authority and held under the supervision of Haq Nawaz Zargar, Principal District & Sessions Judge (Chairman, DLSA) Srinagar, and Shazia Tabassum, Member Secretary, J&K Legal Services Authority.
The primary objective of the programme was to educate students and staff about important legal provisions and their social responsibilities.
