JAMMU, Oct. 28 -- This Diwali, happiness and prosperity spread in Indian markets, as the total sales increased by 25 percent compared to last year, reaching a record ?6.05 lakh crore.

According to the report of the Confederation of All India Traders (CAIT), the credit for this success goes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Vocal for Local' and 'Swadeshi Diwali' campaigns, which attracted consumers towards domestic products.
