SRINAGAR, Aug. 27 -- In view of the ongoing spell of incessant rainfall across the Valley, Divisional Commissioner (Div Com) Kashmir, Anshul Garg conducted an on-ground inspection at Ram Munshi Bagh this morning to assess the water levels of River Jhelum.
During the visit, Div Com reviewed real-time gauge readings from various monitoring stations and was briefed on the historical flood trends of River Jhelum and its tributaries, along with the current rainfall statistics in the catchment areas.
Speaking on the occasion, Anshul Garg informed that the administration is continuously monitoring the evolving situation.
