JAMMU, March 13 -- Divisional Commissioner Jammu Ramesh Kumar, alongside Inspector General of Police (IGP) Bhim Sen Tuti, today chaired a high level meeting to review the arrangements of district administration for upcoming festival season, including Holi, Eid and Navratras.
The meeting, attended by DIGs, Deputy Commissioners and SSPs, held detailed discussion on district wise preparations for smooth celebrations of the festivals.
The Div Com sought the details from the District Administrations regarding arrangements related to supply of and stock position of essential commodities, besides status of power, water supply and sanitation around religious places and major junctions in the districts.
