REASI, Nov. 28 -- In a major action against drug trafficking, District Police Reasi today apprehended four individuals and recovered 8.2 grams of heroin (Chitta) from their possession during routine checking.
A Van (JK08B-0490) driven by Joginder Singh S/O Kashmir Singh R/O Tareru, Kalakote, Rajouri, coming from Panthal towards Katra, was intercepted by police at Searli Check Post.
During checking, three other persons were found boarding the vehicle, who disclosed their identities as:
1. Mohd. Fareed S/O Munshi Khan R/O Dhraman, Kotranka, Rajouri
2. Mohd. Yasir S/O Mohd Qayoom R/O Dhraman, Kotranka, Rajouri
3. Altaf Hussain S/O Noor Hussain R/O Targain, Kotranka, Rajouri
Upon their personal search, police recovered 8.2 grams of heroin...
