REASI, Dec. 9 -- District Police Reasi continues its relentless drive against drug menace in the district. On 08.12.2025, officials of Police Station Reasi established a naka for checking of vehicles and pedestrians at Gran Morh on Reasi-Railway Road.
During the checking, one person travelling on foot from Gran Morh towards Railway Road was stopped for questioning. He disclosed his identity as Mohd Ashraf S/O Hussain Ali R/O Gran Morh, Tehsil & District Reasi.
Upon thorough search, the police recovered a pink-white coloured polythene from the right pocket of his kurta. On opening it, 3.60 grams of heroin-like substance was found. When asked about the possession of the contraband, the individual failed to give any satisfactory reply.
