REASI, Aug. 30 -- District Police Reasi has achieved a major success in curbing bovine smuggling activities by arresting an accused involved in a bovine lifting incident and rescuing two cattle.
On 25.08.2025, a bovine lifting incident was reported from Panthal and Kakryal areas at Police Post Kakryal. Acting swiftly, Police registered Case FIR No. 243/2025 under section 303 (2) BNS at Police Station Katra.
During the course of investigation, Police arrested one accused person identified as Arif Hussain S/O Rafiq Mohd R/O Jhakkar Udhampur, presently residing at Sua No. 1, Rajpura.
