SAMBA, Nov. 27 -- In a decisive move to ensure food safety and public health, ADC Samba Jagdish Singh, serving as the Adjudicating Authority under the Food Safety & Standards Act, 2006, has imposed a penalty of ?1.25 lakh on Food Business Operators (FBOs) across the district for serious violations including sale of substandard food products, maintaining unhygienic conditions, and operating without proper licenses or registration.
