KUPWARA, Feb. 22 -- District Administration Kupwara today organized a One Day Workshop on Disaster Management which was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan.
The workshop was attended by SSP Kupwara, Gulam Jeelani; ADC Kupwara, Mohd Rouf Rehman, besides, district/sectoral officers, Senior Officers from Army, CRPF, NDRF, SDRF, Tehsildars and other stakeholders.
Speaking on the occasion, the Deputy Commissioner said that the aim of organizing the workshop is know how to pool and utilize the resources from different agencies and stakeholders to tackle different kinds of disasters in the district.
