JAMMU, May 9 -- In a proactive move to ensure public safety and strengthen community-police relations, Sh. Shiv Kumar Sharma, IPS, the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Jammu-Samba-Kathua, conducted a comprehensive security check in the old city areas of Jammu today. Accompanied by Sh. Vivek Shekhar, SP City North (JKPS), SDPO City Jammu, SHO Police Station City, and other police officers, the team visited several prominent areas including Panjtirthi, Hari Market, Raghunath Bazar, Mubarakh Mandi, Pacca Danga, Lakhdata Bazar, Kachchi Chawni, and Kanak Mandi.
