BUDGAM, March 18 -- The District Election Officer (DEO) Budgam, Akshay Labroo today reviewed the preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha- 2024 elections in the district.
In this regard, the DEO chaired a detailed meeting of officers at Conference Hall to review preparations and arrangements for the smooth conduct of elections across the district.
At the outset, the DEO called for strict implementation of Model Code of Conduct (MCC) and urged all for strict adherence to all guidelines of Election Commission of India.
The DEO emphasized on providing a level playing field to all political parties to ensure free, fair and smooth conduct of elections in the district.
