JAMMU, July 10 -- Annoyed over delay in testing for COVID-19, the inmates quarantined at Radha Swami Ashram Vijaypur in Samba district staged a protest against the mismanagement of the administration.
The protestors allegedly damaged property at the quarantine centre and even threw chairs at the police personnel after the latter went to stop them from resorting to violence.
This is for the second time in a week when violent protests were witnessed inside the Ashram, which is one of the major quarantine facilities in the Jammu region with a capacity of accommodating 2,000 people.
