SHOPIAN, May 18 -- In a proactive step towards strengthening disaster preparedness and community safety, District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) Shopian today conducted a training programme on Disaster preparedness and emergency response at Government Degree College (GDC) Shopian.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Shopian, Dr. Zakir Hussain Faaz was the chief guest on the occasion.
The training programme witnessed the participation of NCC/ NSS volunteers, student volunteers from GDC and school education, police and other officials, besides civil society members
