SRINAGAR, March 2 -- Not long ago Doordarshan was considered to be a trustworthy source of news in Jammu & Kashmir, but things have changed of late. The Regional News Unit (RNU) of DDK Srinagar has lost its credibility and the same got reflected on Sunday yet again.
In its prime time bulletin on Sunday (February 28) DDK Srinagar carried out a news item that the Srinagar-Leh highway has been thrown open for vehicular traffic after a gap of two years. The news reader of Kashmiri bulletin stuttered and fumbled more than once while reading the news item.
