POONCH, March 11 -- Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal today reviewed the functioning of the Social Welfare Department here at meeting, focusing on the execution of key schemes aimed at enhancing community welfare.
At the outset, District Social Welfare Officer Wakeel Ahmed Bhat presented a comprehensive overview of the Government's welfare initiatives including National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP), Integrated Social Security Scheme (ISSS), Sukanya Samridi, Scholarship Scheme, Marriage Assistance Scheme (SMAS) etc.
