POONCH, Feb. 15 -- Deputy Commissioner (DC) Poonch, Vikas Kundal today chaired a meeting here in the Meeting Hall of DC Office complex to assess the implementation & progress of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana in the district.
At the outset, the Executive Engineer of Electric division JPDCL Poonch briefed a detailed PowerPoint presentation outlining the scheme's objectives and benefits. It was informed that 572 applications have been received on the portal out of which 310 applications were accepted, 29 units have been installed and 48 units installations are under progress till date. It was further informed that as per J&K Bank out of 73 applicants, 10 have successfully availed bank loans for the scheme
