POONCH, April 26 -- Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal chaired a meeting today to evaluate the implementation of the PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojana in the district. At the outset, the Executive Engineer of the Electric Division JPDCL presented a detailed PowerPoint outlining the scheme's objectives and benefits. It was reported that 1003 applications have been received on the portal, with 639 applications accepted. Additionally, J&K Bank indicated that out of 222 applicants, 82 have successfully secured loans for the scheme.
