POONCH, Feb. 13 -- The Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Vikas Kundal, convened a meeting today at the DC Office Complex to assess the operations of the Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) in Mendhar. During the meeting, the Principal of the school provided an overview of the current facilities and highlighted additional requirements for the institution. Currently, 180 students are enrolled, with an expected increase of 60 students this year.

DC Vikas Kundal directed the Tehsildar Mendhar to demarcate the land for the EMRS and prepare the relevant revenue records. He approved additional funding for the construction of a girls' hostel to enhance accommodation facilities.
